Sheikh Nurul Absar Nishu: Bureau Head, Chittagong Division: “The future of this world will be determined on the battlefield in Ukraine,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Saturday at an Asian security conference in Singapore.

Joining the conference via video link, Zelensky said that the Ukrainian army was continuing its efforts to drive the enemy out of areas under Russian control in the early days of the war.

Highlighting the situation in Severodonetsk, an important city in the Donbass region, Zelensky said his country’s troops were continuing resistance in various parts of the east, including the city.  Noting that Western nations and their Asian allies are sending aid to Ukraine, he said that these countries should not stop sending aid.

“If we do not export food, the world will be in a severe and severe food crisis and many countries in Asia and Africa will suffer from famine,” Zelensky said.
